November and December, 2016

Hello, all you fiber lovers out there!

We're sitting cozy in our new location and are excited to announce our plans for your local yarn shop. We are bringing in a line by Candy Skein, which is a cashmere-alpaca blend! It's 'soft as silk' and very cuddly. And speaking of silk, we have a new mystery line coming very soon! Come in to see what's new and exciting at The Yarn Bard and Yarn Gypsy.

We would like to encourage you to remember to make appointments for technical help; we're getting swamped. Although we do our best to help everyone, it makes things a little hair raising if we have four or five people in for help at the same time. Your time is valuable, so if you make an appointment, you will be assured one-on-one assistance (rather than waiting for an hour or more; or just as bad, having the tech support person flit between everyone every few moments).

We are still open late on Wednesdays and Fridays for UFO (UnFinished Object) nights. However, we are back to winter hours, so we will be closed on Mondays, with the following exceptions:
Those of you who are traveling from out of town, and who call to come in on a Monday, and
         Regularly-scheduled Monday classes
So, if your name is MaryAlyce, you like wolves, and you can only come in on Mondays, call ahead! Our number is (435) 531-8789.  Seriously, though, this is not limited to MaryAlyce, but any of you who might be passing through or coming into town on Mondays.

We have some great activities for you in both November and December; please check the calendar on TheYarnBard.Com for more details. If you have an idea for a class, or would like individual lessons, please let us know. Here are the goodies for the next two months:
         The 12 Months of Christmas
Media Tools for Crocheters and Knitters
         2016 Master Class
         Beginning Tatting
         Crocheting for Knitters
         UFO Nights
         SOS for the Holidays
Also note that we go back to Standard Time (unless you're in Arizona) this month (we put that on our calendar for you, too).

Remember, we're on TheYarnBard.Com, Facebook, Ravelry, Blogger, Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter, as TheYarnBard. See us there, and look for weekly specials on those media; you will be amazed at the savings you can get by visiting those sites. Our website has links to all the other sites, as well as helpful videos, the calendar, class descriptions and much more.

As we enter the holiday season, please remember why we celebrate. We at The Yarn Bard and Yarn Gypsy are committed to upholding your values, and we are grateful to you for your support and your input. As such, we wish for you all the very best of everything: the merriest of holidays, the happiest of family get-togethers, and the most meaningful of your beliefs and practices.
